The attitude people communicate to others when they enroll their daughters
in all-girl charter schools and then rest assured they have solved the
problem for their daughters is, in Australia, commonly referred to, as "I'm
Right Jack". An Australian who would say, "I'm right Jack" means, "Don't
bother me with your problems, I've solved my problem and I'm doing just
fine, so why should I worry about you?" Linda is right-on regarding her
stance on single sex schools. Let's solve the problems for all children
rather than just attempting to shelter ourselves (our own daughters) from
them.
