The Coalition of Urban and Metropolitan Universities,
in striving to support research projects designed to
build greater understanding of urban and metropolitan
universities, is pleased to announce the 2000-2001
Ernest A. Lynton Research Grants and Paige E.
Mulhollan Dissertation Award programs. The
Coalition's grant program will support two $10,000
research grant award projects and one $15,000
dissertation award. The deadline for submissions is
March 1, 2001. The guidelines and submission
materials are available online at
www.metrouniversities.com.
If you are planning a research project related to the
opportunities and challenges of metropolitan and urban
universities, with a projected completion date of June
2003, you are encouraged to submit a proposal for this
grant award. Otherwise, please share this RFP information
with other interested parties on your campus.
