Title IX survey and analysis

I found the following notice a bit funny--the assumption is that we in
the enlightened West know our rights. How many U.S. schoolgirls and
college women know what their rights are under Title IX? Has anyone ever
done a reliable survey and analysis? Is that something we could ask the
AAUW to do? It would be interesting also to check up on the agencies
entrusted with "monitoring" Title IX--OCR, the Title IX coordinators in
the school districts, etc.--and find out what percentage is working to
disseminate information and what percentage is functioning to plug up
access.

Pakistan Promises to Improve Women's Rights - AP
The majority of Pakistani women don't know about their rights and have
no formal education to speak of. The country's military ruler vowed to
change that by promising universal education and informing women of their
rights.
